You will receive an email from online@cortiva.com with your special enrollment key on or around this date. This key you will need to enter the course. You are encouraged to enter prior to start date to introduce yourself to your online facilitators and other students. The purpose of this course is to prepare students to develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with their clients. Students learn the foundations of ethical practice and professionalism, including the significance of personal and professional boundaries. Students learn skills to build rapport with clients, deal with sexual issues, and manage conflict.

In this course students will begin to define their unique identities as massage professionals. They will identify personal and professional goals as well as clarify the vision and values for their massage practice. Students will explore career options and concepts as they enhance valuable client-centered customer service principles and acquire an understanding of ethical business procedures and employment structures.
